3M™ 4905 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 20 mil clear acrylic foam tape with acrylic adhesive on both sides, available in a 3/4 inch wide by 5 yard roll. The fully clear construction eliminates visible adhesive lines, making it the preferred choice when bond aesthetics matter as much as bond strength. The acrylic foam core delivers a structural hold capable of replacing rivets, screws, spot welds, and liquid adhesives in many assemblies.
This tape is well suited for glass panel bonding, acrylic display fabrication, translucent sign mounting, retail fixture assembly, and architectural glazing applications where a colorless bond line is required. It performs reliably in both indoor and outdoor environments, handling temperature extremes from -40°F to 200°F while resisting moisture, solvents, and UV exposure.
Each roll ships with a red polyethylene film liner and weighs approximately 0.24 lbs. Sold individually as a single roll and ships via parcel carrier.
