3M™ 425 Aluminum Foil Tape is a 4.6 mil dead-soft aluminum foil tape with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive system. Its UL 723, Class L File R 7311, and UL 764c certifications distinguish it from uncertified foil tapes, making it a dependable choice wherever code-compliant materials are specified.
This tape is used extensively in HVAC ductwork sealing, insulation jacketing, and vapor barrier applications, as well as in manufacturing and industrial maintenance environments requiring heat reflection, UV resistance, or flame resistance. The acrylic adhesive provides thermal conductivity, supporting heat-transfer and thermal-bridging needs.
Each roll is 2 inches wide by 60 yards long. The aluminum foil construction creates an effective barrier against moisture, air infiltration, and vapor transmission. Sold in cases of 24 rolls and ships via parcel.
