3Mâ„¢ 425 Aluminum Foil Tape is a 4.6 mil dead-soft aluminum foil tape with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. The narrow 3/4-inch width delivers precise coverage for sealing seams, patching insulation, and masking surfaces where control and conformability matter.
This tape is engineered for HVAC duct sealing, insulation jacketing, construction weatherproofing, and industrial maintenance. The foil construction is thermally conductive, flame resistant, UV resistant, and heat and light reflective — making it equally effective in exposed outdoor installations and high-temperature interior environments where long-term performance is required.
