The 3M™ 40PR is a 1/2" wide anti-static tape printed with ESD warning symbols, purpose-built for sealing and identifying static-sensitive packaging. Its 2.2 mil polyester film construction and pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive deliver consistent adhesion to poly bags, pouches, and corrugated flaps used throughout electrostatic discharge-controlled supply chains.
The printed ESD symbols allow receiving dock personnel, fulfillment operators, and production line staff to immediately distinguish static-sensitive shipments from standard freight — eliminating the need for secondary warning labels. This makes the tape a practical compliance tool in electronics manufacturing, component assembly, 3PL distribution, and electronics retail fulfillment environments where mishandling sensitive goods carries real risk.
Each roll measures 72 yards and the narrow 1/2" width suits bag sealing, flap closure, and bundling tasks where a low-profile tape run is required. The tape dissipates electrostatic charge and is sold in cases of 18 rolls, ships via parcel carrier.
