Description

3M™ 4032 Double Sided Foam Tape is a 2-inch-wide, 5-yard roll of 1/32" open cell polyurethane foam coated on both sides with a firm acrylic adhesive. The foam core conforms to irregular and uneven surfaces, distributing stress across the entire bond area rather than concentrating it at a single point — a key advantage over rigid bonding methods.

This tape is well suited to assembly, panel attachment, and light-duty mounting in manufacturing, electronics, signage, and construction environments. The foam carrier also dampens vibration and cushions bonded surfaces, making it useful wherever contact points experience minor movement or mechanical stress.

The firm acrylic adhesive resists elevated temperatures and solvents, supporting performance in demanding indoor and protected exterior settings. Optimal bonding is achieved when applied between 70°F and 100°F. Sold as a single roll; multiple rolls can be ordered to meet volume needs.
