3M 4032 double sided foam tape is built on a 1/16" open-cell polyurethane foam carrier coated on both sides with a firm acrylic adhesive. The conformable foam layer distributes stress across the bond area and provides cushioning and vibration dampening between mated surfaces, including irregular or uneven substrates.
This tape is well suited for mounting, trim attachment, gap sealing, and light-duty assembly in manufacturing, fabrication, and general industrial settings. It performs in indoor environments and in exterior applications where the tape remains shielded from direct weather exposure.
The acrylic adhesive offers high bond strength with resistance to elevated temperatures and solvents. Recommended application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F. Sold as a single roll; order multiple rolls to meet production or facility maintenance volume requirements.
