3M™ 4016 Double Sided Foam Tape features a 1/16" thick open-cell polyurethane foam carrier coated on both sides with a firm acrylic adhesive. The foam construction conforms to irregular and uneven surfaces, fills minor gaps along the bond line, and provides vibration dampening and stress distribution without mechanical fasteners.
This tape is well suited for assembly, mounting, and surface bonding tasks in manufacturing, electronics, signage fabrication, and general industrial settings. It performs reliably in indoor environments and in exterior applications where the bond is shielded from direct weather exposure. Recommended application temperature is 70°F to 100°F.
Each roll measures 1/2" wide by 5 yards long and is sold individually. The acrylic adhesive system resists elevated temperatures and solvents, maintaining bond integrity after cure. Ships via parcel carrier.
