4 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 48" Telescoping Outer Boxes

This telescoping outer box forms the shell half of a two-piece shipping system built for long, narrow products that exceed the capacity of standard RSC cartons. The full overlap (FOL) bottom construction reinforces the base against compression and blowout during transit, making it well-suited for heavier extended-length items.

Telescoping two-piece boxes are the preferred solution for items such as curtain rods, fluorescent tubes, architectural molding, sporting equipment, and industrial hardware. The sliding outer-over-inner design naturally accommodates minor length variation without stocking multiple box sizes, which appeals to e-commerce, manufacturing, and retail distribution operations alike.

The box is built from ECT-32 single wall kraft corrugated and ships with interior dimensions of 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 48 inches. One matching inner carton (T4448INNER) is required to complete the set and is sold separately. Each bundle contains 25 outer boxes, and the product ships via parcel carrier.
